Well, no worries, I’m going to show you a detailed step by step process about how to download the GST Registration certificate and believe me it’s a very simple process.
What is GST Certificate?
A GST Certificate is a certificate which is issued by the Government of India to the people/businesses who are registered under GST.
Those people or businesses who have done their GST Registration and have their GST Certificate are required to display the registration certificate at their place of businesses.
Now, Here is a quick step-by-step guide to download GST Certificate
- [Step 1] : Login to your GST Portal/Dashboard
- [Step 2] : Click on Services > User Services > View/Download Certificates
- [Step 3] : Click on the Download Icon to download your certificate.
How to Download GST Registration Certificate [Step by Step Guide]
[Step 1]: Login to GST Portal – In order to Download your GST Registration Certificate, you have to firstly log in to your GST Portal Dashboard.
In case, you are logging in for the first time, you have to click on the link given at the bottom of the GST Portal Login page as shown in the above image.
[Step 2]: Click on Services – Once you log in to your GST Portal Dashboard, you have to click on the Services as shown in the above picture.
[Step 3]: Go on User Services and Click on View/Download Certificates – By clicking on the Services, a drop-down menu will open.
Once the menu will open, you have to go on User Services and then click on View/Download Certificates as shown in the above image.
[Step 4]: Click on the Download Button – Once you click on View/Download Certificate, a new page will open where you have to click on the Download Icon available next to your GST Registration certificate as shown in the above image.
Congratulations 🥳 🥳 You have successfully downloaded your GST Registration Certificate.

Now, A GST Certificate is consists of a total of three pages.
The first page is the main page: It’s the page where all the basic details of your business will show up like your Registration Number, Legal Name, Adress of Principal, Type of Registration, and more information like that.
The Second Page or Annexure A: It’s the page where the number and details of your additional places of business will available.
The Third Page or Annexure B: It’s the last page of your GST Registration Certificate and have the information about the people who are in charge.
This is how your GST Certificate will look like :
[The First Page] – The first page of your GST will have all the details like your Name, GST Number, Legal Name, Address, Type of Registration, Date of Issue and more shown in the above image.
[The Second Page] – The second page or Annexure A of your GST Registration Certificate will show the number of additional places of business in your registration along with the respective addresses.
[The Third Page] – The third page or Annexure B of your GST Registration Certificate will show the details like your GSTIN, Legal Name, Tradename and the details of the person in charge. If you are the proprietor, your photo, name, Designation/Staus and Resident of State will be there.
